Implementing the Recursive De nition of Abelian Group-Based Fields

چکیده
We present a high-level programming abstraction which extends the concept of collection and array. The new construct is based on an algebra of index sets, called a shape, and a functional extension of the array type, the eld type. Shape constructions are based on group theory and we introduce the neighborhood compliant recursive deenition of elds. Then we show how to implement the computation of recursive abelian elds.

Π1 classes and orderable groups
It is known that the spaces of orders on orderable computable fields can represent all Π1 classes up to Turing degree. We show that the spaces of orders on orderable computable abelian and nilpotent groups cannot represent Π1 classes in even a weak manner. Next, we consider presentations of ordered abelian groups, and we show that there is a computable ordered abelian group for which no computa...
متن کاملOn continuous cohomology of locally compact Abelian groups and bilinear maps
Let $A$ be an abelian topological group and $B$ a trivial topological $A$-module. In this paper we define the second bilinear cohomology with a trivial coefficient. We show that every abelian group can be embedded in a central extension of abelian groups with bilinear cocycle. Also we show that in the category of locally compact abelian groups a central extension with a continuous section can b...
متن کاملAutomatic Semi-regular Mesh Construction from Adaptive Distance Fields
This paper describes a method to construct semi-regular meshes for a surface S de ned by the zero set of a trivariate function F(x,y,z), representing a distance eld de nition of S. An adaptive distance eld (ADF) de nition of S is obtained by constructing, adaptively, an octree decomposition of F's domain. The vertices of the octree-based de nition of S lie either on the positive or negative sid...
متن کاملFiniteness of a Non Abelian Tensor Product of Groups
Some su cient conditions for niteness of a generalized non abelian tensor product of groups are established extending Ellis result for compatible actions The non abelian tensor product of groups was introduced by Brown and Loday following works of A Lue and R K Dennis It was de ned for any groups A and B which act on themselves by conjugation y xyx and each of which acts on the other such that ...
متن کاملAn explicit formula for the number of fuzzy subgroups of a finite abelian $p$-group\ of rank two
Ngcibi, Murali and Makamba [Fuzzy subgroups of rank two abelian$p$-group, Iranian J. of Fuzzy Systems {bf 7} (2010), 149-153]considered the number of fuzzy subgroups of a finite abelian$p$-group $mathbb{Z}_{p^m}times mathbb{Z}_{p^n}$ of rank two, andgave explicit formulas for the cases when $m$ is any positiveinteger and $n=1,2,3$. Even though their method can be used for thecases when $n=4,5,l...
